We are BLIX Consultancy, part of AFRY, and specialized in offshore and onshore wind energy projects. It is our mission to be at the forefront of the energy transition and we have already supported hundreds of renewable energy projects all over the world.
We are currently seeking a Senior Strategy Consultant Offshore Wind Energy with experience in the renewable energy market. In this position you lead and conduct research and analyses on the (inter)national offshore wind energy market to identify opportunities for our clients and provide strategic advice. You will lead and be involved in various strategic studies such as market and supply chain studies, LCoE studies, (pre)feasibility studies, validation studies, and you will also be involved in setting up financial models, tender strategy plans etc. BLIX carries out such projects for, national and international clients with among others, Ministries, developers, contractors, TSO’s etc.

Work and Responsibilities
- Strategic studies in the field of offshore wind energy, grid infrastructure, system integration, hydrogen, floating wind and solar, nature inclusive design, etc.;
- Preparation of financial models;
- Market and supply chain studies;
- Audits of innovative technologies;
- Advising and assisting in offshore wind tender processes;
- Layout optimisation, LCoE analyses and yield assessments.
Requirements
- Relevant education at academic level in a business, economics or technical direction;
- 10 years relevant work experience (senior level); 5 years relevant work experience (medior level);
- Preferably work experience as a strategic consultant in renewable energy, 5 years for the senior level, and 2 years for the medior level;
- Knowledge of and experience with analysis and data processing and/or financial models;
- Strong affinity with sustainable energy, current developments and the ambition to be at the forefront of the energy transition and want to know everything about the (wind) energy market and developments in the North Sea and worldwide.

- have communication skills, spoken and written, in English and in Dutch at business level.
