On the 21st October 2019 a Preferred Supplier Agreement was signed with CSBC DEME Wind Engineering (CDWE) for the Balance of Plant (BOP) scope of the first 300MW of the total 1044 MW Hai Long offshore wind farm in Taiwan.
Under the BOP package, CDWE will be responsible for the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) of foundations, inter-array and export cables, and transportation and installation of turbines and OSS.
By securing the PSA with CDWE, parties will be able to jointly develop the project and optimise the use of the local supply chain in Taiwan. Offshore installation works are expected to begin in 2023.
