Michael Thomson is Consultant and Project Manager at BLIX Consultancy. He holds a BSc degree in Mechanical engineering and an MSc degree in Sustainable Energy Technology from Delft University of Technology. He has written a paper for the Torque 2022 conference on ‘providing insight into what can be expected from Offshore Wind Farm Layout Optimization’.

At BLIX, Michael mainly works on onshore and offshore wind projects, where his analytical skills and communication skills are of value. By participating in different phases of wind energy projects, he has developed an all-round perspective for wind energy projects, which is crucial for a smooth run.
