Bayram Mercan joined BLIX in 2022 as Senior Consultant and Project Manager. He holds a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, obtained from Middle East Technical University of Ankara, Turkey. He is a highly experienced project manager (PMP certified) in renewable energy, developed more than 150 wind energy projects (> 10,000 MW) in several countries.

Before joining BLIX, Bayram worked as Presales Engineer (in NE&ME region) at Siemens Gamesa, where he was responsible for supporting customers for operational modification & upgrade products. He worked closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage projects from planning to delivery. Before that, he was Senior Project Consultant, & Business Development Coordinator at BTY Group. Responsibilities included Technical Due Diligence, Owner’s Engineering, Lenders’ Technical Advisory services for wind and solar projects. Moreover, he gained contracts for renewables and infrastructure projects worth more than € 20 Billion in CAPEX. As a Wind Engineer at Re-Consult, Bayram performed preparation of Technical Due Diligence (TDD) of more than 50 projects (more than 4,000 MW) in all-over Turkey including wind measurement data analysis, and energy yield assessment.

At BLIX, Bayram will be working mainly on Strategy related projects, performing (among other things) yield calculations, LCOE studies, feasibility studies and overall project management.

Bayram is proactive, structured and passionate for wind energy. He loves to take responsibility and eager to think out of the box to meet customer requirements. Combining the technical knowledge and commercial mindset, he is a solid strategy developer and project manager.
