Juana Waterkemper is Consultant and Project Manager at BLIX. She holds a Master’s degree in Offshore Structures and Subsea Technology, obtained from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Prior to joining BLIX, Juana worked as Tender Engineer / Manager Offshore Wind at Van Oord, where among other things, she led the technical solution development, set up and discussed winning strategies with the tender team members and commercial manager and supported and revised legal contract documentation. Furthermore, she managed tender processes and prepared submission documents for the end client and presented the proposal to them. Before that, as Subsea Engineer / Project Support Engineer at Van Oord, Juana performed on-bottom stabilization for pipelines and cables, designed several seabed intervention structures and developed new tools and written materials to improve and optimize design and operations.

Juana is passionate about getting things off the ground and creating solutions for a greener future. With her broad knowledge of tender and project management, she contributes great value in all phases of project- and tender management.
