Roy Bergsma joined BLIX in September of 2018. He currently works as Project Engineer for the Taiwanese offshore project Hai Long (1044 MW), where he supports the Balance of Plant Package Manager in risk management, contracting documentation and is involved in the design and procurement process of the submarine cables. Next to this, he works as WTG Tender Manager on five onshore wind projects in Belgium. Earlier he worked as O&M Package Manager for the Belgian Modular Offshore Grid on behalf of Belgian Transmission System Operator Elia. Furthermore, he worked as Project and Contract Manager Assistant of site investigations on behalf of Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), during the development phase of the Hollandse Kust (West) wind farm zone. He also has experience in many technical due diligences of onshore wind projects and several buyer’s- and seller’s due diligences.

Roy raises the bar high, has strong analytical skills, is communicative and a real team player who is curious about people, techniques and processes.
