Vasileios Lampropoulos is Consultant and Project Manager at BLIX. He holds a MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering obtained from the University of Patras. Additionally, he holds a double MSc degree in Energy technologies obtained from Instituto Superior Técnico in Portugal and Grenoble INP in France. Lately, he completed the Galileo Master Certificate as a Renewable Energy Consultant Expert from Renewable Energy Institute. Prior to joining BLIX, Vasileios worked as Lift engineer at Mammoet, where he designed various lifting and hoisting solutions for offshore oil and gas platforms. Moreover, he worked at Allseas’s heavy lift department where he contributed in various decommissioning projects for topsides and jackets at North Sea while he participated in offshore campaigns as a field or project engineer on board on Pioneering Spirit.

At BLIX, as a Consultant in the offshore wind department, Vasileios is working on Transport and Installation (T&I) projects. He is currently involved in the Foundation T&I package management for Skyborn for a German offshore wind farm as T&I support team member.

With his versatile academic and professional background, Vasileios contributes to the mission of BLIX to support as much as possible to the energy transition.
