BLIX acted as technical advisor for a developer who contracted a local party to design, manufacture, install, operate and decommission a jacket structure supporting a LiDAR system.

The goal was to obtain high quality wind data to be used for financial modelling and design purposes.

Results:

• Evaluation of RFQ and submitted tenders which allowed the developer to make an educated decision for a contractor.
• Inspection of offshore site investigation vessel and equipment to assure a safe operation.
• Review of conceptual structural and geotechnical design of the jacket structure
