Market analysis and future outlook of offshore wind in the north of the Netherlands

Giving the expected growth of offshore wind at the Northsea, the Province of Groningen wanted to know how to strategically position itself and how to support local companies and organizations to optimally benefit from this growth. Based on interviews with local stakeholders and a desk study BLIX outlined a future perspective of the offshore wind industry in the north of the Netherlands. BLIX created a report and defined a top ten of recommendations for the Province of Groningen and local stakeholders, to prepare themselves for the offshore wind growth focussing on the supply chain, labour market, port suitability and strengthening the local offshore wind network of stakeholders.
